I have purchased this style of Dearfoams for years and continue to enjoy wearing them. They are easy to pack when traveling and I have found them to wear well. My mother has this style Dearfoams as a staple around her house as well. They are constantly being washed and she has never had a pair fall apart although she has worn out more than a few pairs over the years.

I usually buy inexpensive, ($5 a pair) washable terry scuff slippers and they last about 3-4 months depending on how often I wash them. This time I decided to purchase the more expensive washable terry scuffs from Dearfoam ($12 a pair) expecting them to be superior to the other brand. Wow was I surprized! The stiching unraveled and the padding came out after the first wash! These slippers boast "machine washable," on both package advertisement and undersole description. Writing under the sole also says the product was made in China; this is a very poor quality product. You would make a much wiser investment purchasing the inexpensive brands more often. Dearfoams are softer, but they sure don't last.
