I bought these slippers because my old LL Bean slippers got destroyed when I put my slippers up on my kitchen radiator this winter. They were also hard to keep clean. The Dearfoams you just pop into the washer and let air dry. How simple! I haven't washed them yet, but I'll bet they're easy to keep clean. And the color, sugar pink, is so pretty!
Wears this shoe: I wear them when I get out of bed to go to the bathroom or to go downstairs.

Traction Problems

I had bought these as a gift for my Mother as she has worn Dearfoams for decades. Initially I had to return them for a larger size as they run very small. She normally wears an 8-1/2 shoe size but she needed a 10 to feel comfortable. The main problem was the poor tread on the sole that is anything but skid resistant. My Mother has nearly slipped multiple times when walking on tile or vinyl throughout the house and no longer wears them. Carpeting is OK. This is not acceptable for an 86 year old with a knee replacement and I will give them away shortly.

These are really good looking slippers. I am tempted to wear them on the street. I will certainly wear them when entertaining at home. They are very comfortable, too. Now let's see how well they wear.

I usually like Dearfoams, but this pair felt as if it belonged to someone much smaller than I am. I need to return them for the next size up.
